Summer Bishil (born June 15 in 1985) is an American actor best recognized for her role as Margo for the role of Margo on The Magicians, a Syfy fantasy-drama series that aired between 2015 and present. For the Alan Ball movie Towelhead, she played 13-year-old Lebanese American actress Jasira that goes through a tumultuous life in the background of the U.S. invading Iraq during the Gulf War. The film was chosen by Variety as one of 10 actors they wanted to see. In 2009, she played the imposing Taslima in Crossing Over. She was nominated for the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead in the film. She has also acted in films like Mooz-lum The Last Airbender Pop Star and Under the Silver Lake and she has appeared in a variety of guest roles in television, including the co-lead in Lucky 7.
