Poarch was raised by her grandmother in the Philippines. She told interviewers for the H3 Podcast that she was raised by a grandmother in the slums until she turned three. Kenneth Taylor, an American ex-pat, and his wife Eden adopted her. According to Poarch, during the subsequent 10 years she primarily was responsible for doing household chores and working at the farm. She has two older adopted siblings and a younger brother Bryner. Her family moved to United States in Texas when she was thirteen, with the exception of her two older sisters who remained at home in the Phillipines. Poarch launched her YouTube channel in April of 2020 months after joining TikTok. Poarch is also famous with her alpaca-stuffed doll Paca. In 2020, she launched an apparel line dubbed RIPNDIP x Paca.
